Elassona minor is a beautiful picturesque town perched on the slopes of Mount Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece. Elassona is crossed by Elassonitis River in two parts, the old town situated at the foot of the hill called Olympiotissa, and the new city that lies on the right shore of the River. The two parts are linked by three bridges and a traditional arched bridge.
