Astypalea is an island in the Aegean. A small strip of land about 100 meters, the strait separating the island into two sections inside and outside the island. There are beautiful beaches around the southwestern side of the island. The most famous is the Tzanaki, a few kilometers from the city. The main attraction is the castle which is Astropalia remnant of the Venetians.
